What we collect, and what we do with it
Written in plain language rather than legalese, and kept short because it describes a product that does not collect much.
Last updated 3 August 2026
Draft. This describes what the product genuinely does, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and is not a substitute for one.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, and a hashed password. That is the whole profile.
- Your work: the workspaces, tasks, comments and files you create, and the record of who did what and when.
- Operational data: logs needed to keep the service running and to investigate faults.
We do not ask for a date of birth, a phone number, or a job title, and there is no tracking pixel following you around the internet.
Why we hold it
To run the product you asked us to run: to show your workspaces to you, to show your work to the people you invited, to email you when something needs your attention, and to keep the audit trail that makes a past decision explainable.
Who else sees it
The people in your workspace, according to the role you gave them. Beyond that, only the suppliers the product runs on — hosting, object storage for your files, a database provider, and an email provider that delivers verification and notification messages. They process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.
We do not sell anything to anyone, and we never will.
How long we keep it
Your content stays until you delete it or close your account. Deleting a workspace deletes the tasks, files and comments inside it. Backups are kept for a short window afterwards, so deletion is not instant everywhere at once.
A deleted comment leaves a “comment deleted” marker in its thread. The text is gone; the fact that something was said and removed is not, because a conversation with silent holes in it is misleading.
What you can ask for
- A copy of what we hold about you.
- A correction, if something is wrong.
- Deletion of your account and its contents.
- An objection to a particular use, and a complaint to your data protection authority if we have not resolved it.
Ask, and we will do it. If your work lives in a workspace somebody else owns, we will tell you so rather than delete their records without them.
Changes
If this changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the product rather than quietly editing this page and updating the date.
